Our bakery industry is growing larger
every passing day. With the rise in population the demand for food
products is also on the rise. Our busy lifestyles have made it
impossible to manage home cooking at all times. Mostly during the time
of breakfast we are in a rush to reach our offices on time. The morning
rush has made it impossible for us to cook our own breakfast because the
time consumed in it can make us late and make matters worse in the
office. This trend has increased the demand of ready to cook or readily
cooked food items.
The rising demand of bakery products by the
public has resulted in the birth of a new era and has made bakeries a
thriving business. But catering such a huge demand is not the task of a
single person or a small team, but it has resulted in the creation of
huge factories that are producing eatables on a massive scale. The
factories where the eatables are produced have devised a mechanism which
allows them to keep working round the clock without a break in their
production. Water is the main source which is used widely to make
batters and also for cleansing purposes. It is stored in huge water
tanks and monitored with the
liquid level indicator.
Monitoring
water on an hourly basis lets the maintenance staff to know when the
level has gone below critical. When the levels are lower than the
required they turn on the powerful pumps to fill the tanks again. If the
water tanks run dry without the knowledge of the staff, the entire
production process comes to a grinding halt. Since there are vegetables
to be washed and meat to be cleaned, water is used in huge quantities
and without it, work can never be completed. In the old times when there
was no planning to keep a massive stock of materials, massive
production could not be planned either. This kept the old factories
limited to a certain amount of production and there was a constant
shortage of products in the market.
Today in the factories not
only are the liquids measured, but the powdered materials kept in huge
steel and plastic tanks are also measured by the
ultrasonic liquid level indicator.
Having complete knowledge of all the materials to be used in
production, helps in planning for the future. This enables factories to
produce massively for the events of the future also such as the national
holidays and other celebrations too.
