The human abilities are only limited.
Although there is anything we can do, but at a certain point we need
tools to help us. For instance, we need cars to travel although we can
do it on foot, but the difference in both of the modes does not need
explaining. Similarly when it comes to handle large amounts of liquids
and fluids as is a routine in factories, we need a tool known as a
liquid level indicator. This tool is the only thing that has enabled a
huge amount of liquid to be handled by the humans without getting hurt
and keep a steady record of it.
There is no industry on this planet that does not need a
liquid level indicator.
The fact of its popularity is that there is nothing that can be
produced without needing some type of liquid. In the power generation
plants where everything revolves around electricity, they need the
liquid level indicator to measure their fuel tanks. They need the tool
to measure the huge amount of water used to cool down the turbines.
Similarly in a dyeing unit, the tool is required to measure the amount
of water inside the huge tanks, plus, by knowing the amount of water the
amount of dye is measured. Hence it use in modern industry can never be denied and it can never go out of use even in the future.
Every
tool being used in this world gets an upgrade sooner or later. It is
not the reason that manufacturers are simply vying profits by launching
an upgrade, the need for an upgrade is also easily felt in the
community. In the case of the liquid level indicator, the need for an
upgrade was hugely felt because of the use of many new types of liquids
(especially acids). The huge quantities being used and stored in the
factories raised many safety issues. To solve these issues many new
types of containers and tanks were developed. Most of them single
skinned and here the old liquid level indicators failed badly because of
the limitation in their use. The upgrade came out as the
ultrasonic level indicator
which is not only capable to measure huge amounts of liquids, but is
also the only device which can measure through single skinned
containers. Its use in the modern industry has opened new doors of
development. That is why we use a variety of stuff that our ancestors
could only have dreamt of.
