Some of the toughest tasks included in
an everyday life of a factory worker are measuring the liquids inside
the liquid storage tanks. The huge and possibly larger than anything
else liquid storage tanks are capable to withhold thousands of gallons
of liquids of all kinds. The presence of the types of liquids in a
factory depends upon the things being produced in the factory. If there
is a need for some kinds of chemicals, then it is the need of the
factory to procure the types of liquids. In case it requires sensitive
natured liquids, such as highly powerful acids, then the storage tanks
are made accordingly.
These liquid storage tanks are always fitted with a liquid level indicator. The
liquid level indicator
or the monitor helps the people learn about the level of the liquids
inside these storage tanks. Due to the huge size of the liquid storage
tanks, it is impossible to find out the exact level of liquids inside
them without the help of an indicator or any other tool. Some of the
factories where you are sure to find larger than life liquid storage
tanks include:
- Fertilizer manufacturing units
- Power generation plants
- Textile factories
- Automobiles factories
- Food processing plants
- Beverages manufacturing facilities
- Airports
- Railway stations
- And many others
In
some huge facilities such as the power generation plants, there is a
huge use and waste of the highly toxic liquids. The water which touches
the uranium in a power plant is highly toxic and can cause unmeasured
destruction. The water is treated by special procedures before draining
off in the sewers. Until the toxic water is treated, it is stored in a
single skinned container made of a thick alloy which is able to maintain
its integrity even with the huge amount of toxic liquid inside it. The
treatment process is a well measured process which is begun when enough
water has been stored in the waste tanks.
Until the required
level is attained inside the single skinned containers, the process does
not commence. The single skinned containers are measured regularly with
the
ultrasonic level indicator
and when the required level is attained, the treatment process begins
and the toxic water is sent to the treatment plant through thick and
heavy pipes. In this way the authorities are able to keep the
surroundings and the human population safe from the uranium inflicted
water which can easily cause an entire city to die a horrible death if
the water is mixed with the water being supplied to the city.
