Have you ever noticed that our
lifestyle is more focused on the ready made things now rather than the
homemade? There was a time not long ago (rewind 3 decades) when people
would prepare everything in their homes. The mothers were busy in the
kitchen baking pies, cakes, biscuits and preparing yummy meals. The
grannies would be seen in their rocking chairs knitting scarves,
sweaters and other apparel for their children and grandchildren. Today
the picture is entirely different and we now no more have time to spend
the lifestyle which we have left so far behind. We are now more focused
on our careers and other monetary matters which has clearly made us a
slave of the clock.
Our clothes are ready made; our food is fast
food which is also a ready made of its own kind. Hence we are now more
focused on the things we can purchase from the market and don’t feel the
need to do them on our own. This is the exact reason why factories have
expanded and why there is a huge need of raw materials in the
factories. Everything needs to be prepared by the combination of
different objects or materials (to be precise). The factories prepare
goods by the same principle as they combine different materials to
produce the actual product.
The global demand for such products
is increasing rapidly and this is the reason why we see factories under
immense pressure. The workers and the machines are pushed to their limit
to produce thousands of goods within a single working shift. Hence the
need for raw materials in factories has become ravishingly high and
everything is procured in bulk. While it is easy to store the solids or
the dry materials, storing the high quantity of liquids is a serious
issue. The only way to store liquids in such huge quantity is to place
them in the gigantic storage tanks fitted with a
liquid level indicator.
The
use of a liquid level indicator cannot be ruled out because once the
liquids have been procured in hundreds or thousands of gallons; it
becomes necessary to monitor its use and to keep a record of it too. In
case the liquid tanks run dry, there would be no way to resume work as
long as the liquids are procured and made available to the production
lines. Keeping a record of the liquids provide an opportunity for the
staff to alert the procurement department in advance when the liquid
levels are down. This can prevent the sudden stop in the production
lines and save the facility from a backlog. For precise and pin point
accuracy in taking the readings of the liquids inside the storage tanks,
a lot of factories are using the
ultrasonic level indicator which is by far undeniably the best measuring tool till now.
